Michigan Activity Pass (MAP)

The 2016 season is now open! Explore hundreds of Michigan’s cultural and educational institutions, historic sites, state and national parks and recreation areas, campgrounds, and more, all at reduced or even no cost! All you need to get started is a valid library card.

The Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) program is presented by The Library Network, in partnership with Michigan’s public libraries and 428 arts and cultural organizations, state parks and recreation areas, with more soon to come!

The program is designed to enhance the learning experience for people of all ages through books and other library materials, and to provide reduced cost or complimentary access to arts and cultural organizations across the state of Michigan.

Library users with a valid library card can print pass per week from home or at the library. Some of the participating organizations offer complimentary or reduced price admission; others offer discounts in their gift shop or other exclusive offers. Many organizations offer a limited number of passes each day, so check out the MAP website  often, especially around holiday weekends.

Each Michigan Activity Pass expires seven days from the day it is downloaded and printed. As a GPPL card holder, you may choose any GP Library (Central, Ewald or Woods) as your library.
