Program Description

For over 50 years, CNCC has been preparing Grosse Pointe’s best and brightest for kindergarten. Through play, social and academic skills are learned. We offer daily music and art instruction, kindergarten readiness, playtime, outdoor play (weather permitting), and story time. We also offer special events and parties, and field trips. CNCC is proud to have four certified teachers. Our classes are small with a 4:1 adult-to-student ratio. Three-day or four-day program for three-year-olds are offered; with a four-day program for four-year-olds and Young 5’s. CNCC’s cooperative structure creates a strong community and offers parents unique opportunities to support and understand children’s play, work, and development.

Other benefits to attending CNCC – curbside pickup and drop-off, extended day two days per week (at extra cost), working in the classroom, getting to know other families in the community, beautiful and clean classrooms, safe and loving environment.

$200 non-refundable deposit.  Call for current tuition rates.

Field Trips, Special Programs

The 4 year olds travel for field trips to Trader Joe’s, the police station, and the Grosse Pointe Public Library. Both the 3 and 4 year old classes participate in Special Programs that come to the school throughout the year.  Animals, special craft workshops, and musical presentations are all included in our Special Events program.  A Christmas program and a Spring Sing-A-Long/Graduation program are presented to parents and relatives.

CNCC teachers have their Bachelors degree and attend relevant continuing education classes each year.
